Like, they know deep down that it's an asshole move and a symbol of assholery, but that's the root of why they enjoy it. But now most days they fly or wear it, it's just part of who they are and they barely think about how it marks them as total arseholes. But most importantly is that 99% of the people they interact with feel the same. That enables it, and it becomes normalised. |
