Agree with all this, and would add 4. covid lockdowns. My youngest is 13 and her teachers say there's been a huge increase in behavioural issues and truancy since the lockdowns, as well as anxiety and depression. I know why these decisions were made at the time, but lockdowns really did a number on a whole generation of young people.
