Comment	Sorry to hear what happened. The irony is that PS is gay from top to bottom. Loads of the staff and clientele in that centre are definitely LGBT so very sad to hear about this. There is usually always security on in that place and they are pretty switched on as many of the shops have expensive goods so they are always on the look out for undesireables. I have cycled to the centre a few times and tried locking my bike up at the back door as they don't have any facilities, unlike other centres, to safely lock it. The security have been out in a flash telling me to move the bike elsewhere but that's another story. I think the likelihood of any of them having a knife and even using it on you in such circumstances is highly unlikely. Granted some young people do carry knives but it is primarliy to protect themselves against other neds / gangs. In Glasgow it is virtually unheard of for unprovoked stabbings to happen in the city centre. I think you are over reacting but I understand that you felt threatened. I can assure you that if i was there and I seen them berating you like that I would have intervened. You mentioned in another comment that this was all conversation and nobody else heard. I would advise in future, if you are in a similar circumstances, that you raise your voice to a loud level so that other people are made aware of what is going on rather than skulking away as that is a win for the neds. Use sound bites like: Stop harrasing me! I don't even know you! Leave me alone! That will attract attention and you could get backed up by others. I can assure you the neds will fuck off. If I heard that then it would be like a red rag to a bull to me and I would have come over. Security may even have heard it. I hope this doesnt't happen to you again but making it vocally public is the best alternative to getting involved in a physical confrontation which you stated you are not able / willing to do. Others have stated that you could have questioned the sexuality of the prick but that is maybe a bit more bold. If he had approached me I would have ripped him a new arsehole so to speak. One day every bully meets his match. In any case you missed out one important point. Did you get your hole? :) :)
