It’s pretty run down so it could be that… or it could be one of the hotels that’s housing asylum seekers currently. (There’s been an influx and everyone has an entitlement to shelter.)
If they paid by PayPal, visa or Mastercard they’ll have some protection via their banks etc so they’ll get the funds back eventually.
