| Comment | There’s not been a ‘Hibernian Walk’ in Scotland for decades dude, not meaning to be pedantic here but it’s often used as a counterattack from the more Orange minded bigots to try and portray Catholics as also having bigoted walks..
The Ancient Order of Hibernians were an organisation only open to catholic men of Irish descent, but have not really been active here for a long time.
The walks you have probably seen are likely to be Republican ones, which while still a pain in the derrière are not sectarian. |
