Layers are recommended. It can be freezing outside but warm indoors so make sure you’re not bundled up too much. If you’ve got a sturdy walking boot that will probably do for most weather types.
It really depends what you’re doing/where you’re going. But there’s plenty of shops in case you need an extra layer
