The main work visa in the USA (H1-b) is literally a lottery with around 10% success rate, I have applied and not been granted and so couldnt go work in the USA despite already working for that american company.
In the other direction however as long as you are on the skilled worker list the visa sponsor process for employers in the UK is a relatively straighforward albiet bureaucratic process |
