The ICs are the "premium" set and the plan was to detach the needles. I would not want to lose the needles or even the cord because that would leave my needle set incomplete. The needle set was a gift to me. The less premium option was to use fixed circular needles with a lifeline, if I lose those needles I can buy another one at my destination.
For a 20+ hour journey I would be dressed in a hoodie and joggers I'm afraid :( I'm also younger so a lot of people don't assume knitting is one of my hobbies. I might consider wearing a hat and hand warmer set I bought from one of my knitting pals. |
