| Comment | The original plans for the new towns were were based on the notion of a 15 minute city and so were affordable and well provisioned for facilities and transport. However, when the district corporations were dissolved and areas were developed by individual house builders there was little thought or care about integration into networks or expanding networks and that is why often these areas seem like charmless identikit areas with no community identity. |
