FTB and the housing market isn’t great. I know it is winter when it is the least busy but it has been an awful year. I’ve been looking since the start of the year and nothing. This means any decent houses get snatched quickly.
Not only do we need to try and save for a deposit but we also need a second deposit for offers over the HR value. At this point I am nearing giving up and wondering if I’ll ever be able to buy a place for myself lol. |
