| Comment | I went to my GP after my psoriasis got on top of me and I had a bit of a breakdown in work. All he kept asking was if I felt suicidal. I didn't, but felt pressured to say I did. He put me on some anti-depressant that I can't remember the name of. I was on it for 2 weeks and decided I didn't want to be on it because I felt worse.
I wanted to just speak to someone and have my problem acknowledged. I don't think the GP's are really that well equipped for mental health issues. It definitely felt like a box-checking exercise. |
