Comment	Amsterdam and Copenhagen are both grim, dark and rainy, and people still cycle in them. I cycled 14 miles a day for three years in Glasgow and got a bit wet sometimes, but that was solved by miracle of a jacket and a towel. These kind of issues are not unique to Glasgow or Scotland. Rant over. But I totally agree re: public transport. We need a GCC owned public transport system that is run for the benefit of Glasgow's inhabitants, not the FirstBus shareholders.
