| Comment | Sounds like you have to change GP to be fair. I didn't even ask for a referral I just let them know how I was feeling/symptoms (the forgetfulness, hyperfocus, lack of interest etc) and they made me take a simple questionnaire which took less than 5 minutes. Results showed I was likely to have ADHD and ASD 1, at that point she referred me to the specialist. Don't worry about seeming like a needy person, if you are genuinely concerned or think you have this problem then you HAVE to get it sorted. I had this attitude before and I didn't get anywhere, wish i'd started this sooner. Life's slowly getting back on track for me :) |
