Comment | It's not as strict or as black & white as that. Pedestrians only "legally" have right of way during the pedestrian phase of traffic lights or when already crossing at zebra markings. Everything else falls into the realms of courtesy.
There have been cases where a pedestrian has been ran over and found to be at fault.
(Hyndland St/Dumbarton Road isn't a crossing, btw. I don't know what's making people think it is.) |
