Comment	Those places are privately owned, the issue isn't that no businesses want to fill them, the issue is that they are a fucking fortune. [Here's](https://www.montagu-evans.co.uk/assets/IRD/PDF/Sauchiehall.pdf) a property listing, the total rents of Greggs, The Works and Specsavers is £392,500. The kind of obvious answer is small independent businesses would be amazing (imagine someone like Locavore getting a city centre spot) but it's a much bigger problem of who actually owns parts of the street.
