| Comment | I agree, it is enough to be able to buy your own clothing for work; but the point is that the allowance was included in the terms and conditions for the job. It's one thing to disagree about there being such an allowance, but another to hound her out of her job for using it (and not even all of it).
If folk were interested in more than just venting spleen, they'd campaign for a review of council salaries and spending in general. But hey, they got their head on a stick. Who cares about the actual issues. |
