| Comment | If your wee one is over 3 they are entitled to 15 hours of free childcare, which I believe is going up to 30 hours in the next year or so. If they’re under 3, unless you earn something like over 100k, you’re entitled to tax free childcare. You pay in 80% of the childcare cost into a government account and they top it up with the additional 20% and it’s paid to the nursery through that portal. It’s a bit of a fiddle but definitely worth it. All the free childcare is dealt with via the government website so that’s your best place to start. |
