The key point for me is that some "frequent fliers" are allowed to game the system by submitting single applications in the name of different branches of their parent organisation.
I don't begrudge - subject to them behaving themselves - the Orange order the right to march in the abstract. What is unjustifiable is the sheer volume of parades and the way in which GCC treats applications as emanating from individual branches (e.g, Bridgeton Orange and Purple, Apprentice Boys etc) rather than the Orange order as a collective.
This also goes for the band of Republican terrorist-lovers who march under various guises. |
