My friends advice (who recently did it for 4 months): "Unless you're getting paid really, really well then I'd say it's really not worth it because of the sheer lack of time you'll have during the week. I'd get home knackered every day, cook, eat, do dishes and then have to get to bed to get up at 6 to repeat. The trains were expensive, busy, and just nah"
