>Widened footway

Unnecessary. Finish up the roadworks that are impeding both pedestrians and vehicles and there's enough room for everyone, even during West End Festival or Xmas/New Year.

>Protected bike lanes

I don't see anywhere near enough people cycling to justify it. Very few people working or attending uni persevere after their first stolen bike. Don't expect any physical protection for any bike lanes, GCC PDFs show buses stopping on the cycle paths.

>Fewer parking bays, more disabled ones

I would limit parking to 30-60 mins on Byres Road itself, most of the side streets are residents only parking as it is. Businesses are pushing back hard on this one.

>Dedicated left turn on the junction with GWR removed

Terrible idea, it's good for vehicles and cyclists can also scoot into the bus lane on GWR.

>Byres Road and Church Street both to be made one-way south of their junction (guessing Byres North, Church South)

So, reduce traffic flow along Dumbarton Road some more to allow for right turn filter light? Terrible idea that slows goods vechiles & buses

>New daytime only taxi rank on Church Street

Stupid location. People want taxis either next to the subway or up around GWR.

>20MPH limit for Byres Road and Highburgh Road

To be honest, this would only really make a difference after 7PM because traffic seldom reaches that speed on Byres Road.

I've lived in the area for 18 years and this seems like a massive waste of time and money. But that's to be expected no matter what party makes up the majority of GCC.
