| Body | Something a bit weird about this company.
They sent out a couple of job adverts to the usual websites a few days ago, looking for Wordpress developers, offering £2,000 a month salary.
It caught my attention because job listings don't normally specify the monthly wage, and it's pretty high for what's needed.
Looked more into the company, it seems the website and all their social channels only appeared in February this year. Their website is terrible and is simply a wordpress.com site but they have told their domain name to mask the true location.
Looking at Facebook, they uploaded a logo soon after they started the page, with a different name "Launch Tek"
The address listed on their site seems to be a flat in Partick, the phone number from what I can tell is a virtual office based in Tay House, and the mobile number when searched brings up loads of Gumtree listing from around the UK for "websites for £150"
Some of their clients on their website are big names too, but I doubt very much they are real. blythswood square hotel for example.
I dunno, something just seems off about the whole thing, why are they advertising for staff, when they are simply a wordpress.com created website (not even an privately hosted Wordpress instance)
They are even using remarketing/sponsored ads on Facebook. |
