Yesterday afternoon someone started banging on my door like they were the front man of a police raid.
My girlfriend answered the door and it was my downstairs neighbour being really aggressive and complaining about a banging noise that he's been hearing for weeks.
The thing is everyone in the flat is luckily still able to work from home just now so we were all sitting at desks/dinner table doing work and highly doubt the noise is coming from us (live in large block of flats).
He then proceeded to do the exact same thing to my neighbours on either side and I'm just taken aback how disrespectful someone can be. I get something like that can be annoying but that's not how you deal with it.
At the time I just killed him with kindness but I'm wondering if he comes back again how do I deal with him?
I don't want to talk to him again and after the way he spoke to us I actually don't give a shit about the noise he's complaining about so was just gonna tell him to take it up with the council. Is that the right thing to say?
If he's being really aggressive can I threaten to call the police?
