TitleAnybody else a little concerned about the BLM protest tomorrow?

Now, don't get me wrong, I think the murder of George Floyd and countless other innocent individuals by the American "police" is disgusting and irredeemable, and I totally understand why people feel the need to protest... but given the statement Nicola Sturgeon gave recently about putting lockdown restrictions into law if people take the piss, and also the unsavoury elements jumping on the protest bandwagon and turning American cities (and parts of London, from what I've seen) into warzones, I am deeply concerned about what might happen tomorrow if things get out of hand. I haven't decided whether I'll be there or not yet, but if any of you decide to go, please, for the good of our city, keep it above board.

If I attend, and I see anyone attacking anyone else - unprovoked - I will be stepping in and doing my best to prevent any further violence, and I would ask that you do the same. Social distancing will be difficult and as such, I feel many will be taking their health into their own hands, but what's more important is that we don't fuck this for the rest of us and extend lockdown unnecessarily, so take all possible precautions and make a show of following the rules, if need be.

If anyone feels the same way and is planning to attend, DM me and we can maybe get a bit of a pacifist vigilante force on the go, because if it turns ugly, individuals will not have a chance against mob mentality.
