TitleWhat time is reasonable for the police to respond to a noise complaint?

My neighbour has been hosting what I can only describe as a Balkan hoe down nearly every "school night" of the last 2 months. He's has his mates round, gets steaming and they spend the night screaming at eachother, stamping their feet, clicking their fingers and slapping their bellies. I'm sure it's great craic but Jesus tittyfucking Christ, I don't know if there's anything more annoying when you're trying to sleep before getting up early for work. I've tried speaking to him directly (he answered the door topless, that's how I realised he was slapping his belly) which did nothing and I have had mixed success with phoning the police to complain. When lock down was more strict they were pretty decent with their response but now things have relaxed slightly, they don't seem to care or have more important things to do. It looks like the noise branch of the council aren't operating during the covid crisis so I guess the police is my only option.

When is late enough to make a noise complaint? Things are in full swing tonight and I want to phone at the earliest opportunity to try and get them to show up
