TitleIs the Norfolk Court area decent to live in?

I'm in the market for a new flat and my current landlord just offered me a pretty decent flat right on Norfolk St., next to the subway station.

She's offering it to me at a discount (650) because I've been renting with her for 3 years and it's been good. I've looked at a few flats in the area for a comparison and they are actually a tad pricier at £750+, so this seems like a good deal to me.

I'm quite tempted to take it but I'm not so sure about the area? It's obv. close to the city centre but I've only been around there twice for gigs at the Academy, so I can't judge it.

Is it a decent quiet area? Not overly impressed with the street view and [simd.scot](https://simd.scot) indicates it's only slightly better than Wyndford (where I am now). Tbh I just want to be in a nice friendly area, Wyndford's been surprisingly ok but I am right at the edge of it next to the Kelvin Walkway. I've still had some unpleasant experiences here over the years though.

Hoping you guys can help me out.
