TitleWhat are your honest opinions of University of West of Scotland?

I did my BA at UWS a few years ago and, frankly, I HATED it. In particular they provided no support at all for dissertation writing so I ended up with an ordinary degree instead of honours - which has been a massive problem and has held me back ever since.

But now I'm looking at doing a Msc Social Work and people keep asking me if I'm applying to UWS for it. Apparently they're actually very good for post grad and in particular for nursing, social work and education post grad courses.

I'm wondering if I should give them another chance.

Anyone got any experience with UWS post grad? Was it alright? Anyone got any idea whether a UWS education makes me more or less employable compared to other unis in the area? If you had two people with similar experience etc and the main difference between them was one had a UWS degree and the other had, say, a Caledonian degree which one do you think you'd employ?
