| Body | Yesterday outside the supermarket I saw an incredibly angry white man who was harassing an elderly Black couple while they were returning their trolley . Yelling slurs. Saying they were “ruining Scotland” (Black couple both had “Black Lives Matter” shirts on — not that it in anyway excuses it, just trying to paint a picture of what happened). I stood on between them and told the bigot I didnt want any trouble and I’m not a fighter but if he wanted to hurt the Black couple he’d literally have to beat me til I was either unconcious or couldn’t walk anymore. He eventually got tired of having to yell at me blocking them and got back into his car. Multiple people came up to me after and said they wanted to do what I did but were too nervous. I almost had a panic attack afterwards, haven’t been in a public confrontation like that since probably primary school. |
