| Body | Hope someone can help. I stay next to a community centre and they have a commercial waste bin which hasn’t been emptied in a considerable amount of time due to Covid-19. As you can imagine the bin has now overflowed and people keep dumping rubbish bags beside it. Recently, I’ve noticed rats around the bin in the daytime and rubbish is strewn about the street due to bin bags being ripped open by Seagulls and other vermin. I’ve tried my best to tidy up the mess when I can but it’s just getting worse and beginning to be a pain doing it every day.
I’ve contacted the council who said the service for emptying those bins has been suspended and left they it at that. Is there anyone else I can get in contact with? It’s severely pissing me off and I don’t want the problem to get worse with more Rats etc thinking there is an ample supply of food about. Any help would be appreciated! |
