TitleEnough £ to move to Glasgow
AuthorPhotojournalistAway1
Body
I am 31 and from Belfast, n.Ireland and have mainly worked in call centers. I would love to live somewhere different but not n.Ireland even though there is some good things about living here. I have been to Glasgow and liked it there.

I think I would like to move to Edinburgh or Glasgow.

I have would have about 2k saved and then I would be hoping to find a job quick. I see some some flat sharing websites and they seem easy enough to find somewhere to live.

Example, If I have £2000 saved I would find a flatshare and put down a month deposit £400, month 1 and 2 rent £800 is £1200 - which then leaves £800 to live off for a while.

Any cons I should be thinking about? Prices, job etc.

If worse came to worse, I think I could claim universal credit (not housing benefit) and just use that to pay for a flat share bedroom and live cheap until I get a job. That if things got bad enough but I would have about 2k saved and think I could find a job soon enough.
