In the few months we have been active, the Shawlands Member Defence team has already had victories. We have supported our members who, like many others, have been affected by the pandemic and faced a loss of income, threats of eviction, and landlords unwilling to compromise. Through collective action & support of the union, we managed to stop these evictions and ensure housing security for our members. It IS possible!
