| Body | In the building I live there is some kind of a building-wide fire alarm system. The console for that system is located in the close, just outside my flat.
On regular basis some error develops in it, and it makes a beeping noise, which can be switched off by pressing one of the buttons (as I learned out by trial and error). Still, it's quite annoying that it can wake you up at 4am, and so you need to dress up and go there and switch it out. It gives you a message of "power supply error" or something.
I reported it to the landlord on several occasions, they say they sent someone to fix it but I never seen anyone. I am getting pretty pissed out with it, as I would like to have some good night sleep from time to time, as one do, and it comes up at random at any time of day or night, and quite often.
Is there anything I can do about it? What if I report it to the fire brigade or something, would they consider it to be a fire hazard and force the landlord to have it fixed? |
