| Body | Hi guys i'd really appreciate some help as i'm absolutely drained and frustrated living at home, my head's absolutely frazzled. My parents are very negative and abusive towards each other and me, they have trouble regulating their emotions. I've put up with this crap for god knows how long but i'm not doing it any more.
I don't want them to eat away my positivity/optimism. Therefore I need to get the hell out of dodge, i'm new to all this and struggle with organizing things as I have ADHD combined type. I'm honestly just looking for a 1 bedroom flat where I can be at peace and not have to be at the mercy of toxic people all my life. I currently claim UC and know that wouldn't be enough to cover rent even in my medium-sizeish town.
Have a few questions, will I get housing benefit towards the cost of my flat? If it helps, i'm single and earn very little of course. What is the best way to move out fast/how long does it take to do these things on average? Anything else I need to know? All advice will be greatly appreciated :) |
