Body | I've been avoiding riding buses in Glasgow ever since I've moved here since it's just immensely confusing and expensive, but now I've found a temporary job which I can't access with my bike/train. The only public transport that has a convenient route is a bus. So I took a bus from Gallowgate to Bellshill and I was charged 5.40£ for a single one-way ticket. Then I had to take the bus home. Ended up spending 10.80£ for a job that pays me NMW.
Was that supposed happen? If so:
1) can I save by buying a weekly ticket? Can I ride to different zones with a weekly?
2) how the fuck are Glaswegians putting up with this? |
