TitleGlasgow central - 4am train

Hi all - I need to get on a 4:30am train to Manchester on Tuesday. Planning on getting a cab or an Uber to central and get to central at around 4am.
Anyone knows what's the situation like these days? I think central is open from 4am, so hopefully I won't have to hang around in the streets for more than 5 minutes, but if so is it really unsafe? I'm assuming there's an even higher number of dodgy folk, but do they hang around the main entrance as well? From my experience the underpassage is usually worse and the main entrance ok, but this is precovid days.
Also, anyone has any experience with the etickets? Any problems using those so early in the morning?
