TitleJust a reminder

We’re just out of tier 4, everyone’s flocking to the city centre to get their shopping done, and it’s busy, it’s stressful and I get that. But please, for the love of god, remember how brutal it is for the staff. I work at a city centre McDonald’s, (I don’t think I can legally say which one, but you know the infamously bad one? Aye that one.) and I had one guy in his thirties start Aquarian’s up to me after politely asking me to track and trace. Another middle aged woman decided to have a go too, for the same reason. We’re doing what we can to keep our jobs, we’re being polite, and yet folk still treat us like dirt. We’re not stupid (majority of my colleagues, myself included, are students getting some extra cash) and we are people too.

I get it’s a stressful time but please just remember to see things for the minimum wage worker’s perspective.

Oh, and on the off chance he sees this, massive thanks to the guy who stood up for me when an onlooker tried to report me to my manager. Appreciate it a lot.
