| Body | I'm looking to drum up support for our community buyout of the public land in Maryhill, known locally as the Valley, where Still Game was set and filmed. Glasgow City Council has set a deadline of 15 January for the sale of the land to developers and stipulate it must be used for bought houses. They will not consult with locals who have come up with a plan to rebuild the community to Passivhaus standards to eliminate fuel poverty, install river fed heat pump technology for district heating and sustainable community enterprises. We can't get local or national politicians to talk to us and time is running out.
