It seems like the roads haven't been getting gritted at all over the last week or so of icy conditions (at least round my bit) besides the motorways. There were cars skiting all over the gaff this morning and I witnessed a good 4 or 5 cars slide into or off the road. Is it like this every year? Shouldn't the gritters be oot every night right now?
