TitleYour experiences buying gaffs

Alright peeps, just wondering what everyones experience is buying a house in Glasgow, mainly to do with actually offering up the cash for it.

Currently hitting brick walls of buy to let investors coming in and offering 10-15% over the home report which seems mental to me. Far as I'm aware I can't go over the home report because that's what I'm mortgaged for, any extra would need to come out of me? Not easy to just come up with 15 extra grand. Unless any cunts got a dealing gig?

Is it normally like this and I just need to keep on trying? Or am I being a twat and offering home report value? First time buyer so not exactly sure what is twat and non-twat like behavior.

Cheers!
