TitleContemplating moving to Glasgow from Dublin for a little while. Tips?

So I'm a 28 year old girl from Dublin, Ireland. I'm a social care worker with a BA Hons degree and 2 years experience in the field with young people and those in addiction.

From browsing, I saw average salary of around £22,000 for these type of jobs with my experience- please correct me if I'm wrong!

I want to know from people who live here/are from here: - Where to live (a house/apartment share in a posher area preferably thats ok for an Irish girl to live in)

\- Prices for a room in a house share or even a cheap 1 bed apt, phone bill or prepay, internet, tv, food shopping for a single person per week, etc.

Is this enough money to not live like a peasant in Glasgow? I know it is a lot cheaper than Dublin, you'd struggle on any less than 30-35k here when renting.

Thanks in advance :)
