My friend left her job after confronting her employer about fake payslips and non paying of tax/paye etc. She moved back home for a while, is now staying with me and looking for a waitress/barista job.
She tried to post on an established industry facebook group for Glasgow food and beverage jobs but she is blocked from posting for jobs, as the admins on it owned the place she was at, and a major Glasgow recruitment agency, of which the boss intimated she would struggle to find a job again. Which I think is a pretty big issue TBH.
Are there any other local facebook industry groups? |
