Me and the mrss have no idea what to do. She's been having pains for 2 months now and finally the GP agreed to refer us to a gynaecologist. The problem is that it will be at least another month until someone sees her and if we go private just the consultation costs hundreds of pounds and it still almost a month of wait time.
We're shocked that the overall health service is so bad. We come from Bulgaria and you can go to a private gynaecologist in the same day which includes ultrasound and a physical exam which will cost you no more than 40BGN which is roughly 20 pounds. If flights weren't cancelled we would have gone but we are stuck here and have no idea what to do. We worry her condition might get more severe in the time it will take for someone to see her because her pains for the last week have been getting more frequent and much sharper.
Please, if you know any place that accepts earlier appointments and it doesn't cost hundreds of pounds let me know. It will be much appreciated. |
