| Body | Recently got Broadband through NOWTV, went with this as cheaper and speeds meant to be good. It does work great in the livingroom but other room it completely drops or doesn’t do so well. It’s that bad that it starts using mobile data. We then noticed BT were doing a deal lately so phoned NOW and they said it’s BT that would sort cancellation out. Phone BT to sign up for their deal, they didn’t really take much interest and said we’d need to phone NOW but they were happy to take us on.
Today I phoned NOW and they said that it looks like BT has put in for a new line (an additional) so the two lines will run at the same time and directed me back to BT. I’ve yet to phone BT but are they trying to charge for a new line? Or will there be no cost? Did find it odd that for BT an engineer needs to come out but for NOW it was just switched on at line. We already have a BT mastersocket in flat. Ugh!
I spoke about issues on phone with NOW how the broadband cuts and they recommended a booster. Should we stick with them and try this or get BT to go ahead? As bigger name. Would be good to hear other experiences with them |
