| Body | Just moved into a tenement and got a neighbour complaining about washing on the line blocking their designated sun spot in the garden. They were quite rude and told us it’s a shared garden and we can’t have our washing out on the line where the sun hits (even though we bought the line and there’s plenty space in the garden to sunbathe). Tried to look up online but came across a “freehold”? I’m completely clueless with this stuff and I rent the flat. Every flat I’ve stayed in had a shared garden with a shared washing pole. Is this just a case of a grumpy old man? Can’t see anything in my tenancy about the back garden but I’m assuming as there’s washing poles out there, they are there for a reason and he can just move his seat. The whole garden has sun regardless of washing out.
