Title	Rumours about High Street in central Glasgow; all the shops being turned into flats?

Body	I heard it off a colleague that all the shops on High Street off of all the Uni residencies are all being bought over by the council and turned into flats. I also heard they were using dodgy tactics like increasing the rent on the shops by about 35% making it untenable for existing long term business to remain. Thereby forcing them out. Any truth in this?
