| Body | So intu went bust last year and a new company have taken over Braehead shopping centre.
The new owners have not decided what they are doing with Braehead Arena. Glasgow Clan are wanting to become the operating managers of the arena to allow ice hockey to continue
This will also allow for skating, reccy hockey, etc to continue and grow.
There is a risk that the owners decide to go with a company who will make the area a 'dry' arena with no ice.
There are very few ice rinks left in this area, and certainly none capable of supporting the regular 3000+ fans who were attended games pre-pandemic.
