| Body | Hey folks, I'm sure people here will already be familiar with this but there is a scam going around via text from the Royal Mail asking you to pay a dispatch fee for an order through a dodgy website.
I've been ignoring these to date however it dawned on me today that the messages are not random, they always arrive the day of a genuine scheduled delivery from the Royal Mail.
I'm curious as to how the scammers seemingly know I am having items delivered alongside my mobile number?
Not sure whether I should actually take some action against these if they are somehow able to track my orders--perhaps the scam originates from a Royal Mail employee? |
