Title	Needing a wee vent for all who are shafted!

Body	So this is my first post on here, to talk to you all. I want to say that I am so sickened for those on zero hours or who set up their business, to get pushed aside. Background: I am a zero hours bank nurse on the NHS and over a year ago, when the world had no clue what was going to happen with Covid (God yous have no idea how much I hate this word now) we were all pushed away and the shifts dried up. Why? Because they made the students band 4s and they got basic job security. We should have had the shielders gaps to fill in, we didnt. For 3 months nearly, I was left without work. It was only when nurses started catching covid, we then got work... front line, terrified at the time. Not only were we at risk, our families were. Have we got any thanks? No. The £500 recognition pay? HA HA!!!! This is the bit that makes me want to vomit with rage! If you were shielding, not to go near covid (and rightly so) you got it, along with fullpay of your own wages/job security. If you were not long in a carehome, then went off on Mat Leave, you got it! You are a zero hours bank nurse? You got a varied, very poor made up number. I got £117. I earn more on a normal shift! I know some people will say "you got something" yes I did but how does that justify? People who never nursed through this, face to face with covid, with the shittest "PPE" got the full whack! I cannot even imagine the feeling of coming up with your own employment/business and then getting nothing from your government who have the AUDACITY to pretend like they give a shit for votes today. Jokers. They havent got a pissin clue. The whole thing, you could get into it for hours. So much could have been changed. So much. I really, really hate the blatant unfairness to people! What gets done? Supermarket staff, the shite they had to deal with - hats off and thankyou. My friend who is a postie, she got money too! There should have been no 'bonus' as it wasnt dished out fair at all. Im not expecting great things from this. Just needed to say as I burst out crying from a garbage nightshift and got the news from my best pal on mat leave, that she is "buzzin" to get that £500. Half a grand for being at home, cheers.
