I’m not familiar with the Southside or Cathcart in particular but very excited to move to my first flat!
Any recommendations in the area (justeat reviews are no substitute for local knowledge!).
-Cafes / lunch places
-Chinese (perhaps a chilli style one and something fancier?)
-Indian
-Pizza
-Chip shop
-Pubs? I’m near the old Smiddy which I’ve heard is good!
My girlfriend also likes bargain hunting in charity shops / car boots etc when COVID is not holding her back. Any recommendations in the area?
Broadband - I’ve been looking at Virgin Media Fibre? Anyone on this in Cathcart? Looks to be a good deal.
I’m going to spend the first month decorating but plan on exploring around Linn Park (need to fix my bike this weekend!), any other local suggestions?
