The virus is shitting our city up bad at the moment. The R number is above 1, meaning that infections continue to rise and get worse. It doesn't matter if the all the old and vulnerable cunts have been vaccinated, because they can still get infected. You do hopefully understand the basics of epidemiology and virology, right? Even if its just your "young and healthy" getting infected (which is wrong), it leaves behind lasting impacts on peoples health, and gives more breeding grounds for even worse variants. We've been lucky to see just more infectious variants, and not deadly ones, but you can never predict when a worse one will rear its head.
Its not worth sacrificing the health of a sector of the population just so you can wet your whistle in some shitehole pub. You think you may be happy to do that now but give it a week or two and we'd be back into a lockdown that would last even longer, going by projections at the minute.
Anyway, keep the heid, keep your distance and behave yourselves. We'll be done this in no time, we just can't fuck it up right now. |
