| Body | Girlfriend is studying in Glasgow and only has a SIM and phone number from her own country. She’s gradually bumping into more and more roadblocks where companies or websites will only take a UK number.
For example Scottish Power NEEDS a UK number to arrange a meter change. Why? So they can send a confirmation text, and no they can’t do that over email. Stupid.
Can someone recommend me a prepaid/PAYG sim that allows her to just use it to receive calls and maybe sometimes make them, without the credit expiring or the sim deactivating because she hasn’t topped up in a while?
I’ve been googling around but can’t find any good comparison websites, just blog articles that almost always seem sponsored by some provider. |
